“A beautifully curated dive into the best kept secrets that Bristol has to offer. Every single page unearths yet more hidden stories about this city that we all love. From staircases to snow storms, Michael Manson leaves no stone unturned in his quest to tell us the truth about what’s right under our noses.”
“A second helping from Michael Manson’s extravagant, locally-sourced antiquarian buffet. And it’s all good for you as he cherry-picks his way around Bristol’s past, taking in the big history as well as the more incidental, quaint and interesting bits like Bristol’s weather and where to find the city’s oldest tree.”
“Michael Manson has done it again with this beautifully illustrated second miscellany. I learned much that is new to me - it made me go and discover the city again.”
“An indispensable compendium of Bristol ephemera.”
