Our commitment towards the environment and sustainability has led us to prioritise the use of FSC certified papers in the printing of our books and to opt for shorter print runs to avoid any waste. We choose to print locally in Bristol or the South West for the majority of our publications to reduce our carbon footprint.

Bristol Books are a socially responsible business working with a diverse range of local authors, editors, illustrators, and photographers. We nurture new and existing talent across the city and surrounding areas and are continually growing our network of contacts. We regularly employ freelancers within the creative community of Bristol on a project-by-project basis.

As a Community Interest Company Bristol Books is bound by our commitment to serving the community of Bristol as opposed to the limited company structure. Our four directors meet on a regular bi-monthly basis, where key decisions are agreed by all stakeholders involved.
